The competition will start on 31 March 2022 and will run over a 2 month period.

In the previous tournament Exdee gaming took the crown as the first SAEM Dota champions.
Followed in 2nd place was PUNX interactive gaming and VDRXP MC placing 3rd.
The tournament spanned over a two month period , where all teams battled it out each week creating amazing plays and showing off some amazing Dota 2 skill.
All the teams that participated in this event placed with such drive and talents, it truly showcased the amazing talent that there is in South African. Showcasing that the South African Dota 2 teams have the drive , passion and ability to really take it to the next level and compete on the international stages.
each and every game was live casted so all supporters of each team were able to cheer their favourite teams and players on. All games were casted and views on the GhettoSmurf Gaming Twitch channel.
Another amazing thing about these tournaments are, how the teams despite their competitive nature , constantly helped and motivated one another creating bonds and brand new friendships along the way.
We are super excited for the next tournaments in 2022 and definitely expect nothing less than what was showcased in the previous Dota 2 tournament. The South African Dota 2 teams are making their mark in Dota 2 Esports and we will be here backing and supporting them all the way.
In 2022 we look to host many more Dota 2 tournaments , weekend cups and charity cups. Raising bigger prize pools , gaining more publicity for all teams and players alike that enter these these events.
We would like to say a massive thank you to all the teams that participated in the tournament, we are truly humbled and so grateful for your participation and constant driven and positive attitude towards the SAEM Dota 2 tournament.
2022 is going to be a great year filled with many events and tournaments and we wish you all the very best and cant wait to see you all participate in the next couple of events and tournaments that we will be hosting.
