Every anime review on GhettoSmurf Gaming is scored out of 10 across four categories: story and pacing, animation quality, character development, and re-watch value. Our final GSG verdict is one of three ratings: Must Watch, Worth Watching, or Skip It. 

We don’t do spoilers. We don’t do paid promotions. Every score reflects the genuine experience of watching the series from start to finish.

Yes — we review both completed series and ongoing seasonal anime throughout the year. For seasonal anime, we publish a first-impressions review after the first 3 episodes and a full review at series completion. 

Most anime we review is available on Crunchyroll, Netflix, or Funimation/Hidive. We include streaming availability in every review. South African viewers can access Crunchyroll and Netflix with full anime libraries.
